A native Texan, Lisa White grew up in Dallas, Texas, earned her B.S. in Education from Baylor University, and taught in public schools for 18 years. During that time she married and gave birth to two inspiring sons, Preston, and Philip, now grown, and one daughter, Rebecca, who lives in heaven. Lisa’s career in education was followed by a career in employee benefits as a licensed Life and Health Insurance Agent, then a brief career as an Epic-certified Instructional Designer, all in the beautiful Piney Woods of East Texas. She currently serves as a Corporate Client Engagement Coordinator with The Flippen Group, a Texas-based LLC that provides strategies and services to help individuals, schools, and companies thrive.
Through a series of losses that threatened to cripple her life, Lisa has learned that God specializes in creating beauty from ashes, that His promises are true, and that He is faithful. His redeeming work in her life has led Lisa to serve as Women’s Minister in a Tyler church and to disciple dozens of women by pouring out God’s grace through her life. Lisa is an avid student of God’s Word, of learning new ways to apply it to real life, of fervent prayer, and of empowering women to understand their legacy in Christ.
